The Recovery Program used at Restoration Chapel
Our Vision
"We Came to Believe" is a three‑phase residential program for women living with a substance use disorder. Each phase builds on the last to support healing, stability, and long‑term recovery.
Phase One – Learning About Yourself and the Program
In Phase One, residents focus on psychoeducation about addiction and its effects on the brain and body. They are introduced to the 12 Steps, cognitive behavioral therapy, and self‑esteem work. Residents do not pay fees or living expenses during this phase. Phase One is usually 30 days in length.
Phase Two - Recovery and Renewal
Phase Two offers individual sessions, group therapy, mindfulness, and exercise. As residents begin to heal from addiction, they learn and practice coping skills, communication skills, and leadership skills to guide them into their new life. During this time, residents are supported in finding full‑time employment and begin taking financial responsibility by paying their fees and rent.
Phase Three - Recovery Management and Renewal
Phase Three is all about staying strong and happy. Our residents learn how to take care of themselves so they don't go back to old habits. They will grow in spirit and confidence, and find people in the community who can help along the way. This part helps every woman pick the best next steps for her journey and keep moving forward with hope and an increasingly positive self-image.
